Behind every part is a system
you can trust.
Quality doesn't happen by chance. It comes from processes, people, and a personal standard that refuses to compromise. Here's a real look behind the scenes at Formeta DENTAL.
Quality management & the people behind it
Precision isn't a promise. It's a result.
We work to tolerances tuned to the specific demands of dental technology. Our machines are calibrated on a regular schedule. Every production step is traceable. Our materials are certified and biocompatible.
But quality management is more than technology. It's the people who stand behind it.
At the helm is our CEO, Axel Klarmeyer, with more than 30 years of industry experience at the highest levels of dental. Someone who knows exactly what's on the line in a lab when a part doesn't fit, arrives late, or simply isn't what was promised.
That's our standard. Every single day.
I hate having to apologize, so I'd much rather make sure there's never a reason to.- Axel Klarmeyer, Leadership, Formeta DENTAL
Workplace safety
Working safely isn't an extra. It's the standard.
3D metal printing is a powerful technology. And like any high-performance technology, it has to be handled the right way. Not casually. Not roughly. But to the highest standards available.
At Formeta DENTAL, workplace safety isn't a footnote to the offer. It's the foundation of every decision we make.
What that means for you:
Every material we use is safety-tested and CE-certified. Our processes at the Formeta Technology Center meet all applicable occupational-safety regulations and, in key areas, go well beyond them.
When we implement Onsite printing in your lab, we bring workplace safety right along with it. Equipment setup, training, protective measures, and ongoing support. Your team shouldn't just produce well - they should work safely. Always.
We don't leave until everything runs smoothly at your site after setup. We stand behind a safe operation. Today, tomorrow, and ten years from now.

FAQs
The questions we hear most. Answered without the runaround.
Dental labs, and only dental labs. No direct sales to dentists or practices, including practices with an in-house lab. Strictly Lab isn't just a phrase to us - it's a promise that protects your business.
We talk about it. Right away. Our quality process makes cases like that rare, but we know what's at stake. Claims are handled fast, solution-focused, and without red tape - and the cost is on us, of course.
Our core products are 3D-printed (SLM, selective laser melting) clasp frameworks along with crowns and bridges. We're happy to discuss additional products and indications with you one-on-one.
We use CE-certified materials exclusively. You'll find the safety data sheets in the download center.

If the finished data set comes in by 10 a.m., the work will arrive at your lab within 72 hours!
As a rule, a first draft is ready for you in the Formeta Dental portal within 4 hours.
We use the Formeta Dental order portal for that. Just open it in your browser and register - after a quick identity check, we'll activate your account.
For production we use STL files; for designs on your digital model, PLY, DCM, or OBJ. An STL file works here too, of course - but for a digital cast, please upload images of the drawing as well. That makes it easier for the design team to match your taste 🙂
That depends on the indication. You can download the recommendations from the download portal.

Formeta Dental produces at the Formeta Technology Center.
Very safe, when it's implemented correctly. And that's exactly what we're here for. All of our systems, materials, and processes meet the applicable occupational-safety standards. With Onsite, we guide the implementation step by step.
Yes. Some of our labs run both paths in parallel: the Formeta Technology Center serves as the backup for Onsite printing in case the on-site equipment goes down at the customer's site. Breakdowns and the like. We adapt to your operation, not to some rigid model.
No. Our goal is a partnership you never want to end, because it delivers real value to you. Not because a contract forces it.
